InterGenetics^® is forging the new frontier of genetic information, discovering technologies that can foretell someone’s medical future by unlocking the secrets of their genetic code. Even more significant is the potential to intervene in the course of potentially fatal diseases like cancer because we know that medical future. The pain, suffering and devastating loss of cancer has touched almost everyone… in a close friend or family member. Over 40,000 women die each year of breast cancer, an unacceptable cost in a society with the most advanced medical technology and innovative treatments available.

We at InterGenetics^® are working to translate scientific discoveries into effective diagnostics and treatments for cancer so that more may live longer and healthier lives.

Our mission is simple, to identify people who are genetically predisposed to potentially fatal diseases and provide medical intervention to change the direction of their genetic future.

We do this by examining a multitude of combinations of genes that influence a woman’s risk of ever developing breast cancer in her lifetime. With this information, we identify which ndividuals are at high risk for developing breast cancer and then provide options for changing the path of their genetic future.

By knowing who is at high risk we can proactively intervene with preventative drugs and aggressive screening tools that can detect cancer at its earliest stages or prevent cancer before it develops – yes, prevent cancer before it develops. I am pleased and excited to tell you that this technology will also lead to effective risk diagnostics and treatments for many other cancers such as ovarian, lung, brain, prostate, colon and skin.
